As Venture Partner – Data, Sara brings rigour to our technology and data sourcing and due diligence. Leveraging her physicist’s training and her experience scaling a tech business, Sara sharpens the team’s judgement on the technical strength and defensibility of every deal we consider.
A partially-exited entrepreneur, Sara grew her company Butterfly Data to around 30 people while delivering major technology transformation projects with the NHS and MoD. Her background as both an operator and an active angel investor – with a particular focus on backing female founders, including SenseIV and Meomics – has prepared her well for the work of finding and supporting Welsh outliers.
Away from Mentra, Sara shares our great love of great food and is a keen cyclist.
